SPM-563P Semi-Automatic Case Erector & Pack Station

The SPM-563P Case Erector & Pack Station is a compact, pneumatic-driven solution designed to streamline manual carton forming and packing operations. Built for efficiency and simplicity, this system enables a single operator to erect, pack, and transfer cartons seamlessly—reducing labour while improving throughput and consistency.

Overview

The SPM-563P integrates carton erecting, packing, and transfer into one ergonomic workstation. The operator places a flat carton into the machine, where a pneumatic system automatically folds the bottom flaps into position.

After packing, the operator activates the system via footswitch or pushbutton, triggering a pneumatic pusher that transfers the carton directly into a downstream case sealer or conveyor system—minimizing handling and improving line flow.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the system accommodates a wide range of carton sizes and integrates easily into existing packaging lines.

The SPM-553SFTB uses a new taping head incorporating a V-shaped plate (patented) designed to keep the tape straight and in position for consistent sealing of every carton. It is driven by two side drive belts; each belt has a separate drive mechanism using a special bearing bracket. This provides higher precision, lower noise and lengthens belt life.
