The Speedway CT90-G semi-automatic cap tightener is a unique machine that handles small glass, plastic or metal containers that pose a pinch risk when manually tightening on a conventional machine. Like the CT90, this machine provides reliably and accurately cap tightening and will accommodate any continuous thread cap (including child proof). The adjustable gripper pads holds the bottle in place while the operator has both hands on opposing switches ensuring foolproof safe operation. The grippers can be designed to secure and center round, square and odd shaped bottles. A multi-disc slip clutch provides reliable torque. The CT90-G is air operated and bottle sensing is provided for ease of operation. Change over from one container to another can be accomplished in minutes. Cycle speeds of 20 containers per minute can be achieved.
